AONN Chapter/Affiliate Application

Thank you for your interest in becoming an AONN chapter/affiliate. In order to be considered for this initiative, we ask that you please complete the application in its entirety on the next page. A decision regarding your application will be made within two weeks of its filing.

As a chapter or an affiliate, you will be entitled to the following support services:

  • Funding and logistics management for meetings through educational grants
  • Customized chapter/affiliate web portal, which your members can contribute and collaborate on
  • New member recruitment
  • Access to resources and continuing education
  • Assistance with non-profit filing (Affiliates only)

In return each chapter/affiliate will comply with the following requirements:

  • All chapter/affiliate members must be members of AONN
  • The chapter/affiliate’s Mission/Vision must be parallel or complementary to that of AONN
  • Affiliate will attain non-profit status 501(c)3 or 501(c)6 within the same calendar year of partnering with AONN

The Mission and Vision of AONN are listed below for your reference.

Mission: The mission of AONN is to advance the role of patient navigation in cancer care and survivorship planning by providing a network for collaboration and development of best practices for the improvement of patient access to care and quality of life.

Vision: The vision of AONN is to increase the role of and access to oncology nurse and patient navigators, so that all cancer patients may benefit from their guidance, insight, and personal advocacy.
