About NCONA

The North Carolina Oncology Navigators Association (NCONA) is open to nurses, social workers and lay navigators who provide navigation and survivorship care services in the state of North Carolina.

Mission
The mission of NCONA is to advance the role of patient navigation in cancer care and survivorship planning in North Carolina by providing a network for collaboration and development of best practices for the improvement of patient access to care and quality of life.

Vision
The vision of NCONA is to increase the role of and access to oncology nurses and patient navigators in North Carolina, so that all cancer patients may benefit from their guidance, insight, and personal advocacy.
