RN Cancer Care Navigator

In this role, you will serve as a single point of contact for referring physicians, patients, and caregivers to provide resources and assistance with accessing clinical and supportive care services offered within Kaiser Permanente, Northwest. In addition, you will ensure that the patient has the necessary appointments across the continuum for individual patient, including those made with lab, diagnostics areas, and specialty physicians.

Qualifications include:

  • A current Oregon and Washington RN license
  • A current BLS with AED certification
  • OCN within six months of hire
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
  • A master’s degree in nursing is preferred
  • Breast cancer navigator certification
  • At least two years of oncology experience in the last three years
  • Two years of experience in an acute care or ambulatory care/clinic setting within the last five years
  • Previous breast cancer navigator experience, radiation oncology experience, and surgical oncology experience preferred
  • Previous experience with population care/case management, triage, and advice preferred
  • The willingness to learn computerized information systems
