Mission: The mission of the Northwest Navigation Network (NNN) Portland Chapter is to improve patient outcomes through collaboration with oncology nurse navigators, patient navigators, care coordinators, and social workers in the Pacific Northwest community.
Vision: The vision of the Northwest Navigation Network (NNN) Portland Chapter is to create a database of navigators in the Northwest Region to assist with resource sharing. NNN strives to improve evidence-based practice through networking discussions, events, and education activities. Additionally, NNN aims to provide resources to promote professional development.
Goals/Objectives:
- Share navigator contact information
- Share local, regional, and state resources
- Examples of meeting topics: evidence-based practice, gaps in care, cancer awareness months
- Improve access to Continuing Education (CEUs)
- Receive financial sponsorship from local oncology vendors
