Existing Local Navigator Networks
Our mission is to provide networking and educational opportunities for local Oncology Nurse Navigators and other oncology patient navigators in the Houston area, while promoting and developing best practices in patient navigation, and improving access to cancer care and quality of life for cancer survivors from the time of diagnosis, through treatment, and beyond.
The mission of Journey Across Maine Navigators is to improve cancer care for patients throughout Maine by working together as navigators and providing holistic, patient centered care through all stages of cancer care. Navigators will work together to assist patients in overcoming barriers to care, improve access to care, provide education, and work to empower all cancer patients to improve quality of life throughout the patient’s cancer journey.
The mission of the Kentucky Oncology Navigator Network of AONN+ is to provide networking, collaboration, education and professional development opportunities to local nurse and patient oncology navigators in order to be advocates for patients and caregivers and improve the quality of life cross the cancer continuum.
The mission of the Long Island Navigator Network of AONN+ is to provide networking opportunities, education and support among local oncology navigators, and to share best practices, promote professional development, and improve patient experiences.
The Network of Oncology Patient Navigation in West Africa (NOPWA) strives to bring together different types of navigators from various backgrounds from throughout Nigeria to promote the role of patient navigation in cancer care and survivorship planning by providing a network for collaboration and development of best practices for the improvement of patient access to care and quality of life.
The New Mexico Cancer Patient Navigation Network (NMCPNN) seeks to improve cancer outcomes and remove barriers for patients across the cancer care continuum. We strive to bring together different types of navigators from various backgrounds from throughout New Mexico to make a positive difference in the lives of cancer patients.
The mission of the North Florida AONN+ Local Navigation Network is to bring Oncology Nurse Navigators together and provide interactive opportunities to increase knowledge base, innovation, and collaboration among the North Florida geographic area.
The mission of the North Texas Regional Navigator Network of AONN+ is to support the national AONN+ mission to advance the role of patient navigation in cancer care and survivorship planning by providing a network for collaboration and development of best practices for the improvement of patient access to care and quality of life.
The mission of the Ohio Navigator Network of the Academy of Oncology Nurse & Patient Navigators (AONN+) is to provide an open forum to enhance the professional development of navigators in Ohio through professional educational opportunities, knowledge, and collaborative networking while providing advocacy for patients, their families, and caregivers. This forum of Ohio navigators will provide the highest quality of navigation services through the cancer care continuum using evidence-based practices to ensure improved patient outcomes in survivorship and cancer care.
