Lillie D. Shockney, RN, BS, MAS, ONN-CG
Lillie D. Shockney has been the administrative director of The Johns Hopkins Breast Center in Baltimore, Maryland, since 1997. A 2-time, 24 year breast cancer survivor, Lillie has worked tirelessly to improve the care of patients with breast cancer around the world. She is a registered nurse with a bachelor of science degree in healthcare administration from Saint Joseph’s College and a master’s in administrative science from Johns Hopkins University. She has worked at Johns Hopkins since 1983. She is responsible for quality-of-care programs; patient education programs; the survivor volunteer team; community outreach at local, regional, and national levels; the website; and patient advocacy. She is also certified as a breast imaging and breast cancer patient navigator in addition to holding the position of administrative director of the Johns Hopkins Cancer Survivorship Programs.
