When I think of AONN+, the first thing that comes to mind for me is one word: connections.

In response to the COVID-19 crisis and by drawing on its unique tools and resources, the Academy of Oncology Nurse & Patient Navigators (AONN+) gave me the confidence and knowledge to engage the communities, especially the under-resourced ones, in the past 2 years of the pandemic. During this time, I have been not only a navigator, but also a connector—transmitting knowledge, resources, and solutions to address health concerns in the community.
