Andi Dwyer, Director of the Colorado Cancer Screening Program, co-leader of the Colorado State Local Navigator Network, and member of the AONN+ Board of Trustees has long been a driving force in implementing service programs and advancing patient navigation.
She says she sits on the board because “AONN+ is actually the home for patient navigators. It's really the coalition, it's the network, and a place that really cultivates relationships and helps the patient navigation community think about its own growth and development.”
Her goals as a board member include developing strategies to support navigators, workflow development, and ensuring sustainable wages and work paths for people who work in prevention and early detection.
